Census of Marine Life

During ten years of intensive research, the Census of Marine Life conducted the most comprehensive inventory of life in the ocean to date. Marine life was documented in twenty-five key ocean areas from the tropics to the poles. The data collected will serve as a baseline for measuring future changes. To see some of the underwater creatures that were discovered by scientists during the census, watch this video.
