This specimen is an American Bison. The bones of the specimen include the longest thoracic vertebra, shortest vertebra with rib, one hoof with half the metatarsal, multiple phalanges, and the femur. The American bison is a large bovine native to North America. The smallest bone of the specimen measures 1 cm x 1 cm x 3 cm and the longest bone of the specimen measrues 9.5 cm x 10 cm x 42.2 cm.
