This specimen is Pumice (an igneous rock). Pumice is created when heated, highly pressurized rock is ejected from a volcano. Pumice has many uses such as an abrasive, in construction and for personal hygiene use. This specimen measures approximately 7 cm x 5 cm x 4 cm.
