These specimens are the carbonate mineral Smithsonite. Smithsonite was named in honor of James Smithson, who was the first to identify the mineral. The larger specimen measures approximately 21 cm x 13.5 cm x 10 cm. The smaller specimen measures 17 cm x 10 cm x 2.5 cm.
