This is a 3D print of a Maiacetus whale cranium, mandible, and forelimb. It is a cast made of plastic PLA filament and a coat of resin. It is painted to replicate a fossil of Maiacetus, an extinct genus of whales that walked on land and had webbed feet. The 3D print is mostly brown in color. The forelimb is in 3 parts and each part measures around 10 cm long and 3 cm wide. The cranium and mandible casts together measure around 24 cm x 12 cm x 10 cm in size.
