This fossil is worm tunnels. Worm tunnels are a type of trace fossil. A trace fossil is preserved evidence of biological activity left on geologic surfaces such as footprints, tracks, burrows, etc., but not the remains of the animal itself. The tunneling activities of worms left behind this structure. The worm tunnels measure about 28.5cm x 8cm.
