Scott Wing Explaining the PETM

Dr. Scott Wing reveals the dramatic changes in vegetation that took place during the warming event called the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM) that began 56 million years ago. He explains how fossil plants found in Wyoming provide evidence for the responses of plant communities to the warming event. He compares and contrasts the PETM warming event to the global climate change we are experiencing today.
