Description

Help biologists sort, count and identify animals collected at deep-sea hydrothermal vents in the Pacific. Sit alongside these enthusiastic researchers to identify your finds and discuss how these organisms survive in their extreme environment. Then handle real volcanic rocks from these areas and talk with a volcanologist to figure out why chimneys are releasing volcanic gas at the bottom of the ocean.
