Q?rius Expedition

This program is a 60-minute self-guided exploration of Q?rius.

Grades 6-12

The Q?rius Expedition is a 60-minute self-guided survey of natural history topics, tools, and activities in Q?rius, for up to 60 students at a time.

    • Hidden Worlds:  Grades 6-12. Students explore how natural history science helps reveal hidden worlds across the science curriculum. They select from activities that invite them to investigate evidence of water on Mars, zoom in on bees, rocks, and micro-organisms to identify them the way Smithsonian scientists do, identify new species from coral reefs, discover how diverse the world is at 50x magnification, reveal the identity of a mystery human skull, and explore patterns across nature.
