Decoding Mars

LEVEL 2: Test your pattern recognition skills with satellite images!

Satellite images, or pictures taken from above a planet, reveal natural features that are difficult to see from the ground.

Scientists learn how to recognize the patterns these different features make on Earth. Features to look for include:

  • Flowing Water
  • Dunes
  • Volcanoes

Proceed to the next step to test your pattern recognition skills.
